Lone egg left on the beach

As one looks at the beach you can’t help notice we are in Prime Time at the beach! It’s packed! The beach is turning blue with SHIBUMI tents, that is one thing that has changed over the years, in the not so recent past, there were the classic blue umbrellas, and a few Colman tents. Now, the classic blue umbrellas, are becoming a thing of the past, 6 is thinking that Scooter got married about the correct time, no more Proper Lines, just a mass smattering of SHIBUMI blue covering the beach! You can conclude, that as usual, 6 was once gain a few years ahead of the latest trends! Ok SHIBUMI…. Where the heck is my darn check? SHIBUMI and Co., look at the beach cam on Kiawah Island, 6 is the number ONE SHIBUMI influencer!

When the beach is packed, it reminds 6, of a few profound words from a couple of wise individuals: “All the lonely people, where do they all come from?" This goes way back to a time when 95% of the readers of this blog where not even a glimmer in their Mum and Dad’s eye. Let’s put this into clear English. The beach is packed, after a day or two, the self-absorbed people are the lonely people we see sitting there doing nothing. They have spent several days, pretending as if they fit-in at the Sanctuary/ the sand castle/ the Ocean Course, etc. that will drain them of their last cent and most of all humbleness. Only to see the next group of Lonely people “Friday niters” experience their first exposure to the beach! As the Social Theorists would exclaim, they are produced by a system that is more concerned with building personal façades, than building family and community. Notice the term Social Theorists, this theory is nothing new it came about in the mid-18th century. Sure, is funny how names change, but nothing ever changes. For we all must remember that this is a wonderful day, that we have never seen before.

As they say, it is time to cut this blog off, Banana is calling.

Words of Wisdom: One lonely turtle egg, brings life to all who appreciate it.

Now we are into a new week, I know that I am a day late, but I hope not a dollar short! This week you have to answer two questions:  First where is he and second most important why is he there. The only hint I will give is the picture was taken this Saturday!

Time to start planning for 2014!

Since we are in the dead of winter, the snow is forever coming and the cold is making 6’s bones hurt, so 6 guesses it is time for vacation planning! 6 is announcing the official opening of Vacation 2014 planning.                 6 and 8 have ordered the condo’s , so let the trips to Belk begin (that is if 62 will ever take me there) so that we can enter the shopping zone! 21 and 21A better get their butts in gear! 6 keeps hearing rumors that we might have a return visitor(s) this year. I will not say whom, because I don’t want to put any undue pressure on those that are retired, but time is a wasting! Just picture this, sitting on the beach could possibly be representatives of 1 thru 8 including 0A, Oh what a sight! 6 can imagine walking down the beach and looking up at our homestead and seeing a handsome group of people enjoying the majesty of sweltering Kiawah afternoon on the beach. The first bunch will b...

Start of week 3!

I do not want to hear that this is not a "rooster" I know. There is no rooster in this picture, I have Ashleigh working on how to insert the rooster in a picture, it is beyond my abilities! For this picture you will have to do some research.. I will say this it is very close to something that most of us go to each day.. no its not the beach! I need to know what it is close to, and then what street is it on! and yes I know that it is near a bike path! you all might have to look at a map for this one!
