There is still no winner of the trivia question

Rain at the beach! As 6 often says life is a beach! We often times complain when things don’t go our way, but did you know that, things are always going your way, one just needs to accept what has been given and make each obstacle an opportunity to succeed.
For one thing we are all creatures of habit, be it at home or on vacation. That in itself is really scary if you think about it. Pick a day be it a day we are all on vacation or just a normal workday. IF you really give it some serious thought you will find that you do the same things each day, now 6 will give you that the events of the day change, but you do follow the same old thing. IS this bad? That is up for you to decide. Since this is a Kiawah blog, 6 will focus on the week in paradise. Take any day “Tuesday” Get up at 6:15, go to the beach, walk to the local coffee shop, get myself a cup of coffee, and continue my walk. Get back to the condo at about 7:30, jump on the bike, take a ride, back to the condo at 9:00, Go to the sleep late condo, get another cup of coffee, watch Josh’s weather forecast, watch some Hoda and Cathy Lee. Now at this point one might think that there is a departure from routine, for example, if Josh has called for rain, 6 might get a cup of coffee to go, or if it is going to be nice 6 will fill up the recycled water bottle with water and Jack, but in either case, 6 will head back to the condo and get ready for the beach. Go to the beach about 11:00 sit in the sun, or sit in the rain, who cares, 6 is on the beach. A day of rain is nice because there is no one on the beach to bother him other than the chair guy. Go eat some lunch, and back to the beach, at 4:15 go back to the condo and get some wine, then back to the beach, drink wine eat cheese and watch the umbrella guy take our chair and umbrella, back to the condo for dinner, eat dinner drink some Rex, then back to the beach! Start over on Wed. Now tell me that each of you could not do the same thing and be about 90% accurate! That is life! Yes there is always obstacles, for example, when it rain, 6 will not drink Jack but stick with the coffee, or 6 may not even go into the ocean if it is a rainy day, for there is no need he is wet from the rain. Or god forbid we might be out of Rex, ^ might have to run to the store and buy a few bottles. Or there might be an infestation of Jelly fish, 6 might go out and get stung, but he might just sit back and enjoy others getting bitten, or the coffee shop might be out of coffee, that has never happened so not sure what 6 would do, but 6 is sure that it would not change his outlook on life. When things change one has to adapt to that change, it is actually easy, if you really want to succeed.

Words of wisdom: Rain, nor snow nor sleet or hail will stop you from achieving your goals, if one only accepts change as an opportunity to grow.

Now we are into a new week, I know that I am a day late, but I hope not a dollar short! This week you have to answer two questions:  First where is he and second most important why is he there. The only hint I will give is the picture was taken this Saturday!

Time to start planning for 2014!

Since we are in the dead of winter, the snow is forever coming and the cold is making 6’s bones hurt, so 6 guesses it is time for vacation planning! 6 is announcing the official opening of Vacation 2014 planning.                 6 and 8 have ordered the condo’s , so let the trips to Belk begin (that is if 62 will ever take me there) so that we can enter the shopping zone! 21 and 21A better get their butts in gear! 6 keeps hearing rumors that we might have a return visitor(s) this year. I will not say whom, because I don’t want to put any undue pressure on those that are retired, but time is a wasting! Just picture this, sitting on the beach could possibly be representatives of 1 thru 8 including 0A, Oh what a sight! 6 can imagine walking down the beach and looking up at our homestead and seeing a handsome group of people enjoying the majesty of sweltering Kiawah afternoon on the beach. The first bunch will b...

Start of week 3!

I do not want to hear that this is not a "rooster" I know. There is no rooster in this picture, I have Ashleigh working on how to insert the rooster in a picture, it is beyond my abilities! For this picture you will have to do some research.. I will say this it is very close to something that most of us go to each day.. no its not the beach! I need to know what it is close to, and then what street is it on! and yes I know that it is near a bike path! you all might have to look at a map for this one!
