New rules

6 knows that the calendar says that it is  spring, meaning the flowers should be in full bloom, the trees  creating tons of pollen, and the weeds in our yard making a green carpet for all of us to enjoy. Well we are not quit there this year, as 6 looks at the weather forecast, it is calling for snow! That means that global warming is in full swing! This year among other things 6 did not color Easter eggs, what a disappointment to wake up Easter morning, after a late night of Rex, and not be faced with 3 or 4 containers of colored eggs that need to be hidden all thorough out the house. 6 bets that this was the first time in 60 years that the window seals were not adorned with brightly colored eggs for the wondering eyes of young egg hunters. At breakfast that morning, 6 was expressing his disappointment and one of the young egg hunters came up with a brilliant idea! Let’s do an Easter egg hunt on the beach! To that end when 6 unveils his mandatory vacation fun agenda, it will include a new event, an Easter egg coloring event! Here is a snap shot of the event. This will have to be a two day event. Tuesday the egg coloring crew will meet at the condo to color the eggs, (Not 6’s condo) the eggs will be raw in other words not hard boiled. Day 2, On Wednesday night (currently whiskey drinking night on the beach) we are all going to gather the colored RAW eggs at the condo, along with glasses, ice, bottle of whiskey,  beach chairs, bug spray, stogies, the “Pill” so we can listen to music, and head to the beach. We will leave at 9:00 pm promptly. Once the bottle of whiskey has been consumed, we will start the egg toss of the raw eggs.  6 looked it up, and the moon will be 64%, so that should add to the fun!

Now we are into a new week, I know that I am a day late, but I hope not a dollar short! This week you have to answer two questions:  First where is he and second most important why is he there. The only hint I will give is the picture was taken this Saturday!

Time to start planning for 2014!

Since we are in the dead of winter, the snow is forever coming and the cold is making 6’s bones hurt, so 6 guesses it is time for vacation planning! 6 is announcing the official opening of Vacation 2014 planning.                 6 and 8 have ordered the condo’s , so let the trips to Belk begin (that is if 62 will ever take me there) so that we can enter the shopping zone! 21 and 21A better get their butts in gear! 6 keeps hearing rumors that we might have a return visitor(s) this year. I will not say whom, because I don’t want to put any undue pressure on those that are retired, but time is a wasting! Just picture this, sitting on the beach could possibly be representatives of 1 thru 8 including 0A, Oh what a sight! 6 can imagine walking down the beach and looking up at our homestead and seeing a handsome group of people enjoying the majesty of sweltering Kiawah afternoon on the beach. The first bunch will b...

Start of week 3!

I do not want to hear that this is not a "rooster" I know. There is no rooster in this picture, I have Ashleigh working on how to insert the rooster in a picture, it is beyond my abilities! For this picture you will have to do some research.. I will say this it is very close to something that most of us go to each day.. no its not the beach! I need to know what it is close to, and then what street is it on! and yes I know that it is near a bike path! you all might have to look at a map for this one!
