It seems like every day, 6 take a few precious moments, to
observe the activities via the beach cam. It reminds me of the Griswold’s house
at the end of the movie when Uncle Lewis drops his stogie into the drain, or
when the Griswold’s arrive at Wally World and find the parking lot empty. What
a joy that would be to have the beach to ourselves. Just think.. Rex at 9:00,
hundreds of yards to play botchy ball, no tent people, etc. No people, just our family, the birds, sun
water and jelly fish. Can you think of anything better!!
6 don’t have a political bone in his body, nor does he care
about all the up evil happening everyday all around us. Think about it, life is
really about Mayberry, Bugtusselle, Pixly and Crabwell Corner and not
Washington DC, Iran, Iraq and Syria. Getting you picture taken was all about
dressing in your Sunday best, having your picture taken, printed framed and put
on the fire place, not taking a selfie , and posting it on face book. Communications was all about sitting down to dinner
with family and friends and talking or picking up the phone and calling on even
taking a pen and paper and writing, now we sit in front of the TV while eating
dinner and text. Entertainment was
sitting on the front porch after a long day strumming on the guitar, singing a
song or sitting around an open fire stinging pop corn. Now we plug in our
IPods, while surfing the web filling our heads with useless facts and instant
news full of opinions that do nothing but make us hunger for more trivia, while
dividing us as a people.( just like sitting around wasting beach time watching
Hota Gobob ) Take for example all the things going on in the NFL (whatever
happened to playing the game) Tell me
one thing: what does the NFL have to do
with any of it. What these players have done is inexcusable on any level, but
instead of the NFL taking action, where is our justice system. If these things
happened in Mayberry, Andy and Barney within 24 hours would have them in the
slammer with Otis Campbell! Today, the media is putting pressure on a private companies to take action
on these people, so one is to assume that the NFL is higher than the law! You
are all wondering what this has to do with the beach, well let me tell you.
Does anyone remember that nice Tuesday afternoon, when the grandfather was
dunking his grandson in the ocean for not listing to him? Once again the actions
are purely unacceptable, but think about it… if this man worked for Ford,
should the media and congress be asking for the head of Allen Malley , or if he
was a Gov’t employee, should they ask the President to step down. Or should we
let Andy, or Adam 12, or CHIP’s, or Dragnet, or Clarks buddy with the rubber
hose take care of it?? 6 just don’t know, But the IG has all the answers.
